Responsibilities:

Arrange deliveries for the day, assign pick up requests and enter orders in system

Set up appointment freight, manifest shipments, check for expedited shipments and enter any missed pick-ups

Dispatch drivers

Dispatch additional daily shipments
-
Perform dock and yard checks, ensure freight is not missed and trucks are on delivery

Coordinate drivers to back for second run of deliveries, manifest skeleton and make linehaul orders
-
Maintain communication for status reports on correct loading by unit and timely departures

Ensure accurate reporting
