We have a diverse team of engineers dedicated to support customers’ projects and development of existing and future products for customers on a global scale. We are currently looking for a “Long Term Application Engineering Intern” (6 + 6 months) to join and support our team who will be based in Cummins Istanbul Office.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role you will need the following;
- Preferably final year student in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Naval Architecture, Marine Mechanical Engineering or Automotive Engineering of reputable universities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills on english (Able to Communicate with interdisciplinary, international teams as well as with customers.)
- Social Skills;

- Has knowledge or interest in engine & auxiliary systems and new generation power systems.
Tasks
-Supporting Application Engineers
-Visiting customers with AEs and supporting testing processes when needed.
-Direct communication with the customers in order to maintain the processes when needed.
-Providing guidance and support to customers during the reporting of their designs and test results in accordance with Cummins systematic approach.
-Supporting the preparation and follow-up of periodic reports
-Planning, following-up and inspecting of test and data collection tools.
