Valens Research is hiring a Legal & Operations Intern in Istanbul, Turkey to work on internal and external projects and US-based clients.
Full-time/Part-time Paid Internship conducting legal services, follow-ups, counseling, internal, and external U.S.-based companies with mostly USA Eastern Daytime hours in Istanbul. Responsibilities in working directly with our legal and compliance counsel.
(This is not a mandatory legal internship—as per Turkish regulations—completed during the second six months of the internship after graduating from law school.)

Internship tasks:
- Drafting, reviewing, and editing legal documents, agreements, amendments, statements, and fillings
- Answering and conducting back and forth correspondences
- Communicating with USPTO and State Corporate Secretaries
- Conducting legal research and drafting reviews
- Following up with internal tax, management, company optimization, and matters

Requirements:
- Proficient in English
- Bachelor of Laws (LLB) or Business School graduate or 3rd/4th-year student with a foundational understanding of corporate law
- Previous experience in corporate law is a plus
- Knowledge and interest in US law and practices are a plus
- Located in Istanbul, Turkey (or has a valid working permit in Turkey)
Work is conducted primarily remotely with in-person training sessions and events, once or twice monthly, in our offices in Levent, Istanbul.
