About Position
Software Test Engineers are information technology professionals who make sure software is doing what it is designed to do consistently. Many industries employ software test engineers because software is central to a very wide variety of goods and services.
Not only are software test engineers tech savvy, but they are great communicators. Test engineers are adept in communicating with fellow computer industry professionals as well as with non-tech clients.
Roles & Responsibilities

Requirement analysis

Test case preparation and documentation

Test execution and reporting
-
Defect tracking and reporting

Test environment preparation

Functional and non-functional (Usability, Performance etc.) test execution
-
Regression test execution
-
User Acceptance Testing, coordination and support
-
Evaluating test process maturity and implementing necessary improvements
-
Preparation of project test plan (Master Test Plan), coordination and monitoring of the test
progress

Preparing and controlling the mandatory deliverables of Software Development Lifecycle
Qualifications
-
Graduated from (a program of 2 years or more) Programming, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Industrial Engineering and other related disciplines

Basic skills on programming languages (Java, Python, C, C++, C#, VB.net, NodeJS, SQL, etc.)
-
Basic skills on DB technologies (Oracle, MySQL, mongoDB, SQLServer, Cassandra, DB2, etc.)
-
Desire to have a career on software testing

Adopting preventative/shift-left testing approach by looking from a wider testing perspective
-
Intermediate level of English (Especially writing proficiency)
