As our Network Expert, you will be responsible for the EMEA Kerry WAN Network maintenance and future developments and automation, new site provisioning and site moves (both remote and on-site). You will have a chance to take part in the transition to Cloud Telephony and SD-WAN environment. Our plan for the future of infrastructure is automation therefore you will have an opportunity to partake in the building the foundation for DevOps culture and chance to learn more about other aspects of IT Infrastructure and share your knowledge with the rest of the team respectively.
Your responsibilities
▪ Advanced on-premise and cloud network infrastructure issues troubleshooting
▪ Design and deployment of functional networks (LAN, WLAN, WAN)
▪ Communication equipment procurement and provisioning
▪ Network availability and performance monitoring
▪ Network hardening
▪ Maintaining up to date network topology diagrams and documentation
▪ Windows Server network services management (Radius, DNS, DHCP)
▪ Comms and Server Rooms wiring management
▪ Site-moves and new sites provisioning
▪ Fixed lines contracts management (Internet Lines and Telephony)
▪ Telephony system management (User and Call queues etc.)
Your profile
▪ Conversational English language skills essential
▪ Industry-related experience as a Senior Network Engineer or Network Administrator
▪ Solid background in network administration and architecture
▪ In-depth understanding of communication protocols (mainly TCP/IP) and routing protocols (e.g. BGP, OSPF)
▪ Experience with network diagnostic, monitoring and analysis tools and packet analysis (e.g. SolarWinds)
▪ Deep understanding of VOIP – mainly SIP and ISDN
▪ Familiarity with access control models and network security
▪ BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
▪ Strong client facing and presentation skills
▪ Proactive, passionate approach
Desirable Knowledge
▪ Professional certification (e.g. CCNA)
▪ Previous Fortinet and/or Cisco Meraki experience
▪ Cisco Unified Communication Manager CUCM – Administration experience
▪ Microsoft Skype for Business/Teams Telephony experience
▪ PRTG Sensor administration
